Fresh and Fun

Updated: May 31, 2020

My passion for cooking started when I was young. My parents would catch me in the kitchen making "experiments" and "potions" for them to try. I loved seeing how different foods would come together, and for a kid I had an odd love for tomatoes, cucumbers, and chocolate pudding. Two of those loves remain—goodbye pudding!

Fresh foods are the best ingredients for wonderful and wholesome meals. Years later, experimenting in the kitchen is still my favorite pastime. I love seeing if mangos or pineapples are better in salsa on top of salmon, and if I would rather use dill or basil with the lemon roasted chicken. Layering fresh ingredients is exciting, and in many ways you can never have the same meal twice.

My passion for food pairs more nicely with fitness than my favorite red wine, because it is truly good food, made with the freshest ingredients, that fuels a well-energized and an invigorating life.

Featured in this blog, I will share partial recipes and the food I am currently making. For full recipes, meal plans, and fitness plans, please see the prices and plan page, and contact me directly at josephinebush89@gmail.com.
