The power of combining great workouts and nourishing meals
What fuels me?

Sports and fitness have always been part of my life. Growing up in a town nestled in the mountains, the outdoors were my playground, the school parking lot my track, and the school's hard floor gym was my favorite place to run suicides (I was always the crazy kid who actually liked the running punishment that all team sports seem to have). Throughout my adolescent years I played soccer and softball, ran track and cross country, ski raced and played basketball. My seasons were jam-packed and I lived and breathed for everything competitive and everything fitness. My senior year, after winning the state 400 meter dash, I was given the wonderful opportunity to run track and cross country at Colorado State University.

Since college I have cross-fitted in Berlin and Tucson, lifted lots of weights in gyms found on the side of cobblestone streets in Sienna, Italy, and went to the best group classes at the YMCA in Harlem, New York City. After each good workout, I have always been excited to go home and make a meal with great ingredients and hopefully shared with amazing people.

Cooking became my outlet early in life. I always looked forward to whipping something up and experimenting to see new flavors crash together. In middle school and high school it became my way of love. I would gift cakes and host dinners. Later in college, with a group of friends we would have international nights where we would each cook a new plate from around the world and then educate one another about it. If working out makes me feel alive, cooking makes me feel at home. Fitness and cooking are two staples in my life—they are my therapy. I run and lift to let my endorphins fly and I come home to cook to create edible artwork that brings me back to peace.

A great workout and a nourishing meal is the recipe for a good life. With my ACE Personal Training Certification and my CrossFit Level I, I create meal plans and fitness plans that are targeted at your goals —from toning up and eating cleaner, to fueling yourself for competition. We are all different, but two things are true for us all—good food heals and fuels us, and movement brings us to new places, whether that be a half marathon finish line, or a new deadlift PR, or just getting movement part of your daily routine.

Your days should be filled with delicious meals and workouts that make you feel like the best version of you—your life should be built on that and longer and brighter because of it!

About

a big portion of good for you

Daily Endorphins & Sustenance

I am here to help you fuel your fitness. By providing fun, spunky, healthy meals, coupled with fitness plans, that are specific to you, I will help guide you to reach your goals. You do not have to count calories, measure macros, or log all of your food to lead a healthy life that is full of good food and fitness.

I have never logged food or counted a calorie in my life. Instead I believe in making food the happiest part of my life, as it brings people together for wonderful meals, and helps me reach my fitness goals by making me feel great, day in and day out.

It all comes down to fresh ingredients, experimenting with flashy flavors that make you fall in love with creating food that allows you to move—to be fit to move and explore this amazing world we live on. Everyone says food and fitness is a lifestyle, food and fitness, but it is not a lifestyle, it is life itself.
